Blazer fans may find It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday, as their exciting young core of Damian Lillard, Wes Matthews, Nic Batum and LaMarcus Aldridge was disbanded along with the rest of the NBA and they may be faced with at least 4 Seasons of Loneliness before they can get back to that level of expectation. Portland used their first five picks in the dispersal draft to select players aged 20, 19, 20, 20 and 22 adding a further four players under 25 with later picks, so the fans have to hope it will be Better on the Other Side.
"Maybe at the End of the Road these guys will be champions and Hall of Famers," claims Blazers GM Tim Wallis. "They won't be guaranteed starting roles just because they were taken with the team's first five picks. Hopefully, One Sweet Day, the city of Portland will be down On Bended Knee saying Thank You for this team but we've got a lot of work to do before then. Potential is just opportunity and you can't let it Pass You By, you've gotta work hard and just Relax Your Mind and think 'I Will Get There' and eventually you will if you stick at it. Portland fans, I want to Thank You in Advance for your patience."Trying Times ahead for Portland, but hopefully the boys can stand up in the preseason and become men.

My favorite group back in the day. Then they lost Michael's bass and the sound, while still good, just wasn't the same.
