With the third overall pick in the 1996 GAH draft, the Dallas Mavericks select forward Glenn Robinson from Purdue. Robinson is the purest scorer in the draft. A player who is not afraid of looking at the rim and take any shot, with his size at 6'7" and 225 lbs he can be a headache for opposing defenses. Most cite his average skills everywhere else when saying Robinson will not meet expectations in the pros, but he is a smart player that knows how to make defenses pay. Robinson joins a Mavericks team looking to find an identity. Alongside Latrell Sprewell he will form a very interesting duo at the wings. With Ervin Johnson anchoring the middle and Greg Anthony running the point, Dallas could be finally rising in the West.

I grew up outside of Milwaukee, Wi. So I had a #13 'Big Dog' jersey. As stated..a true scorer inside&out..but was really dinged on defense...and effort consistantly IRL. Everyone thought he just cared about getting his points...nothing more.
We'll see what the GAH version brings.

Mavs only used spre last season for only 15 games, big dog will likely be there new starter at 3, and again spre will be benched lol. But it would have been really perfect if it was nash here, that family name nash is synonymous to dallas mavericks, nd that team needs some fast paced offense in a run n gun style, they shot only 25.6% frm the rainbow country, nash would have been a great help here maybe..
