Interesting. Personally not a fan of Kyrie in the simverse, but we'll see what happens. Honestly, after seeing my own top-3 fly away (I had remote hopes that somebody drafted Chris Paul or even Dwight), I seriously considered drafting Irving at #4 and run a long term project due to rl admiration and contractual reasons, but as you say, he's potentially better in real life than in the game.

There aren't any trades in the dispersal draft anyway. Wasn't sure about it, but I prefer it that way.

I would've bet you didn't like Kyrie in RL... honestly I wanted to pick a PG, cause they're usually hard to trade for, but could've picked a any of the other 4 or 5 I had in mind. Finally went for Kyrie mostly for his RL hype tbh. Drafting 5-6 picks later would've been ideal to me, I could still have a top PG and an earlier 2nd pick.

And I don't like him as a PG! (I see him as a combo) But then I watched Uncle Drew's video... Loads of talent, shoots really well but non-physical, injury and turnover prone, Cleveland still a really bad team despite drafting high every year... I've got European thoughts on this position, the PG should create for others and knock it down in clutch time or when he's open (Papaloukas, Diamantidis, Raül López and right now Emir Preldzic because yeah, for me he's a Point Guard). Forget about "Euro" D'Antoni's up-tempo style, gimme basket control like Obradovic's or Messina's! and I'm not kidding. The quesion is, should I, who have never played basketball, say this to a point guard? If Irving was a couple of inches taller he would be a better version of Harden IMO I would've bet you didn't like Kyrie in RL... honestly

Yeah I personally would run Kyrie as a SG, not a PG. I feel he can be much more effective that way.

I'll all depend on what players I'm able to get, but he could share some minutes at SG. Anyway the main goal will be to make him productive at PG, but we'll have to see how he performs.

Really like what Lukc got with Indiana at 20. Damian Lillard is a lot of young talent.

But his current ratings look right for my system already at age 20 and he and Calderon were the last two players of the right type left at PG. Picking at 21 I decided that I wouldn't be going for a star and building around them, but instead drafting specific player types at each spot and hoping my system would work in DDS3. At all the other spots there are still numerous guys who could fit but at PG it was extremely shallow.

You know you only took him to get under my skin lol. I would have ignored my plans for a particular system if I'd been able to draft Lillard. Although I was concerned that he'd be under-rated in this game if the ratings are from before his rookie season. They look a bit low to me.

I contemplated Westbrook @ 20, decided Lillard because of few minor things. But I can see why Ryan picked him - he does resemble Warren a bit Surprised with Iguodala to GSW. He is the type of guy that Manu likes, possibly would be available in the 2nd round to him though. I guess he didn't want to risk like Tim.

Yeah but a better defender. I've taken him though as a shooting guard and we'll still seek a point.

Yea,I thought so. He is quite a defender. If I'd have selected him, I'd probably use him @ SG as well - despite undersize.

That's what I originally thought but players like Wade have never struggled in games at the same height. Still effective.
