Well Smits definitely went cheap but not horribly. These contracts are starting to catch up to teams with the rule change made 2 seasons ago.
But I cant complain. Barring injury I should win the division easily now.

Also really happy to get Lloyd back. Didnt think I would. Averaged 17 for me on what would have been a high 50 win team.

Well we were in negotiations and communicated that to PTP who felt we couldn't make a move although time zone differences and waiting for GM replies are a factor they couldn't wait any longer apparently.
We're good could rebuild completely trade Miller and have everyone expiring this season so no biggie as we were highly competitive when others didn't think we would be.
Great job Denver love Smits in the mile high city!

@onenole Yeah miscalculated hard cap numbers on my end that said I was torn on a few ideas and ultimately the decision by PTP helped as I like my situation now moving forward as a new challenge. Rice was due next season and I've gotta get him more involved and may go different direction?

Seikaly needs work so will be a project and Smits is obviously a starter. What it means for Rasmussen is probably clear from the trade thread and we'll look to move him.

Like the Ken Norman signing for San Antonio at that price.

Like the Ken Norman signing for San Antonio at that price. I was technically out of the running for him....given the salary req that was offered by another team...that is why I signed Worthy. I credit PTP for informing me last minute that his deals were gone...and I couldn't pass up getting him. (I was hoping to get Elie with that remaining cap space). So now a logjam for sure....but I'll take his potential abilities when playing time is there to perform. ljw SAS

I put in an offer for $7 million on Rony (which I was not comfortable with but had all my guys signed)but I was slow in getting it out so Denver won out there. Had the same mistake with Anthony Mason but I think in that case Memphis would have matched anything.
I did throw in an offer on Smits I could have technically beat Denver but I capped it much smaller. I went for the old folks instead!!

A lot of big mans for denver. Solid in the paint. Was definitely an area of focus. We hit the Pacers one season with their bigs and then last season the Warriors with Ewing.

Glad to see Glen Rice return to Washington. The boxscores he and Reggie put in are worth looking at every sim.

Lakers are gonna be a big player this year with Sikma on their squad. I went pretty hard on Sikma also but opted to spread the talent a bit more. Nice pickup LAL....

Amazing to see Sikma still going strong after all these years, could be a big difference maker in LA.
