Manu,
Just clarifying......as the in-game 'Offer Trade' screen seems contradictive:
From CBA *************************** 2. TRADE RESTRICTIONS
- A player signed as a free agent in the offseason must wait a 90-day period from the start of the regular season until he can be traded ****************************
Does this hold true for players that might have also been FAs this past season, but was NOT renounced and resigned with same team? Or is there no holding period for these players that re-upped?
Reason I ask is if I pull up Spurs...I see Sampson and Mills both WITHOUT an asterisk and allowed to be put in the screen to view cap and cpu thoughts on advantage. All the people I did not have bird rights on and signed this offseason has an asterisk, and popup states player is not trade eligible. (I see same on other players like Jordan, Pippen, Drexler, Miller....game cpu says no trade restrictions)
Just wondering if these guys are all limited to be dealt after ~end of Jan??
Thanks in a advance! ljw SAS

Yes, they are restricted too. The game AI only restricts players who switched teams, but we also restrict those who resigned with their mother teams.
