Pacers have been looking to move Sarunas, after he has fallen out of favor, and hasn't played in several weeks. Getting Mason helps the front court bench in defense/rebounding/handling. It also frees up enough cap for another move desired by Pacers before deadline.
Thanks to Grizzlies GM for quick turnaround!

The Vancouver Grizzlies have been watching Sarunas Marciulionis for awhile and needed a few things to fall into place before they could approach for Trade he will add another offensive weapon to the new look Grizzlies Line Up. Harvey Grant will be much more then a trade filler, he should get extended minutes and prove that he belongs.
Anthony Mason will be sorely missed but asked to be traded to get the playing time he deserves.
Also a big thanks to the Pacers GM for a quick and easy deal
