Sixers managed to steal the opener in Chicago, 101-90.
Strickland 22pts 11ass but 8 turnovers Ellison 19pts 8reb but 5 turnovers Abdul-Rauf 17pts Anderson 16pts 8ass 5reb
Doesn't look a lot like the usual winning boxscore for Philly, especially against a team of the Bulls' quality, but it looks like the team decided to see how playing defense might work. Kept the Bulls to 41.6% shooting while hitting on 54.2% at the other end.

Wow, big win for Philly.
Jazz get wrecked in Denver. Smits, Thompson and Miller draw a lot of fouls inside and cause havoc in our rotation. The Admiral hardly plays, but only has 4 fouls, so I don't know if that was a quick injury situation or just freaky foul trouble, but Bennett fouls out and nobody manages to do anything in the game. If this is any indication, we may get swept. Need to play a lot better next game.
