Another close game that we were able to win, 104-98. We're 3-0 but could also be 0-3, as all games so far have been decided by seven or less points.
Barkley: 20 points, 9 assists, 5 rebounds, 2 blocks. Garrett: 18 points, 9 rebounds, 3 blocks, 1 assist, 1 steal. Gill: 16 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals, 1 block. Armstrong: 12 points, 6 assists, 4 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 block. Barry: 11 points, 2 assists.

Abdul-Rauf got injured and is done for the year, so yeah. That leaves Sabonis as the only starter who is still playing.
Koncak on Barkley didn't work so well (Koncak fouled out in 26 minutes, scoreless with 4 boards) but we don't have many options.
Anderson also must have had some early foul issues and only played 23 minutes, scoring 22 points. Sabonis was very good with 22pts 10reb 5ass 2blk. Derek Smith stepped up again with 19 off the bench.

Ouch, a two point loss at home. that does it for us. had a good shooting night but fouled too much, and Robinson only played 29 minutes.

As mentioned we sneak out a 2 point win in a foul fest to grab the 3-0 lead. Harper lead us with 26 and Ruland had 18 pts 13 boards but most importantly used his veteran wit to get the line 11 times, which helped get Robinson in foul trouble. Do not expect game 4 to cake walk, good chance we have to go back home and try to close out.

I have seen lots of teams get hit by injuries over the years ... but I don't remember anything like what is happening to the Sixers this year.

I can't see my guys' durability without the game working, but from memory (and thinking of real life) it was tempting fate to have Kellogg, Ellison and Sabonis on the same roster. Always a good chance at least one of those 3 will be injured at any given time. But losing the starting backcourt plus a couple of key bench players on top of 2/3 of those fragile guys....
