With the 11th overall pick in the 1996 GAH draft the Phoenix Suns select forward Othella Harrington from Georgetown.
At 6'9" and 235 lbs Harrington is a traditional power forward that may form an inside tandem with another former Hoya, Patrick Ewing, assuming the Suns bring the veteran center back this summer. While Harrington does not excel in particular in any area, his game is very well rounded for a post player: can score some, plays defense and crashes the boards. It will be interesting to follow his pro career, since Georgetown has a good tradition at producing GAH big men (Ewing, Mourning or Mutombo, for example).
saspurs: manu...it appears the schedule shows four games on day one...and then 8 games day two. So is it safe to assume the first sim the Spurs will not be playing? Just making sure.
