Blue collar, gold swagger
Indianapolis, IN - Today the Indiana Pacers announced that GM Lukc will be leading the Pacers into NAH's dispersal draft and beyond. GM Lukc is well known in basketball community after he lead the Philadelphia 76ers to the title in what was previously known as the NBA.
"I am excited that I got the opportunity to be a general manager of, what is to me personally, a favourite team. It's both an honour and pleasure to be able to land such a job. I will do my best to bring the Pacers fans and people of Indiana a team that they will be proud of for years to come," GM Lukc said. "I was asked quite a few times already about what kind of team will we be looking to build and what kind of style we will bring. And truthfully, a lot depends on where in the dispersal draft we will pick and what kind of players will be available. So the final decision has not been made about that. But we do know that we will strive to put a quality, homogeneous team on the court, a team that fans will be proud of both on and off the court."
With the dispersal draft looking ahead, Pacers find themselves in the same territory as the remaining 29 teams, not knowing where they will pick and which players they could select. But that certainly presents for most of the excitement for now, as with no players on rosters and dispersal draft lottery ahead of us, all teams are right now equal.

Despite the fall of NBA and creation of NAH, Conseco Fieldhouse will remain a home to the Pacers
