Hawks agree. It was actually the Jazz who approached to us with this deal. After some initial doubts, I decided to go all in. Despite starting to decline Robinson is still elite and should be a difference maker, specially next to Barkley. However, both of them make a combined $38M, so putting a whole team together is a challenge.
Nice dealing, Lucas.

Jazz agree. Obviously losing The Admiral is rough, but we were actually in a bit of a bind. Most of our team, including Allan Houston and Doug Christie, are free agents. But with David Robinson’s massive contract we weren’t going to be able to resign most of our supporting cast. So we were left with 2 choices: keep Robinson and have minimal talent around him or shop Robinson and start a more sustainable future.
So this deal lands us 2 firsts, 2 quality players, and saves $4m in cap space. Now we should be able to keep everyone & start a new era around Armstrong Douglas,, Gill, Houston, Christie, Smith, and Bennett. Two firsts this season and two firsts in 99 will help as well. Good dealing Manu

Approved, but needs to wait until renouncements as otherwise it would put the Hawks over the Hard Cap.
