So, I had to look it up. Walter Davis played/started in 1389 consecutive games (that's five games short of 17 seasons)...prior to the fateful injury, in which the game engine decided he would not play in two games, and not start in three games, to end the 1993 season. (some guys just can't stay healthy)So as incredible as Patrick Ewing's run was, he missed this record by ~5 seasons!!!!! Walter went on to start all 82 games in 1994 to finish with 1471 starts....1473 games played......in 18 seasons, or 1476 total games. ljw SAS

Simply amazing. Walter Davis may be the best player ever in the GAH who never won a title.
