The 2012/13 season for the Knicks was a disaster. Picked as one of the top playoff contenders by many polls the Knicks limp their way through a 39 - 43 season only reaching the .500 mark once. The team as a whole will stay intact there will be a change at the Small Forward, Richard Jefferson will not be coming back management fell they did not get enough production from the position.

Acquire at the trade deadline was a great addition to the team 16.5 ppg, 1.1 apg, 8.8 rpg, 1.1 spg and 1.7 bpg. Gortat and Lee make a great front court tandem.
C Joel Anthony will not be coming back next season
The small forward position needs to be looked at and some bench players need to be brought in but management feels very confident with the way the team looks and they are ready to prove that this past season was a flute.
