The Los Angeles Clippers have the 2nd and 3rd pick in the coming draft and have been working fevorishly studying the draft and working out players at their practice facility. They have reportedly been impressed with many players, the ones that are thought to go in the 1st 5-6 picks.
"We loved what Anthony Bennett showed us," said one scout. "What an awesome athelete" said another. He is a big guy out on the floor that could guard any player in the league. "In our system he would fit great" said scout 1. He will likely be the 1st pick though. The Clippers won't be too disappointed with chosing from the remaining players.
Anthony Bennett
Nerlens Noel is, by most observers account, the best Center in the draft. The Clippers are known to be enamored by Noel and a pairing of him with Roy Hibbert. It would be an interesting experiment and just might work.
Nerlens Noel
Victor Oladipo is of definate interest to the Clippers. He would bring defense to a team that needs it. Image he and Noel on this team. The opposition scoring might be the lowest ever recorded once they reach their prime.
They love Otto Porter. Not quite the defensive player as Victor, Otto is a scorer and from any place on the court. The Clipper could use a good glue man and Otto would be a great choice for them.
Otto is a solid all around BB player. Great scorer, free throw shooter and excellent though not elite (Noel & Oladipo) The Clipper could use a good "glue guy" though and he would be welcome on the Clippers roster.
The Clippers are still studying the players but will likely, almost cetainly pick 2 of the 4 above. "We are eager for the draft to start" said one Clippers scout. We'd like to know who we are going to have on our team. Fans are eager also, of course, they are fans.
