Gotta say, not a fan of Kemba at all, but I think Harden was a really great pick at 27. Hopefully you can field a nice supporting cast for him. Ilyasova and Okafor is a really solid starting frontline IMO.
Isaiah Thomas / Jimmer Fredette / Scott Machado
Jeremy Lamb / Gerald Green
Harrison Barnes / Luke Babbit / Jordan Hamilton
Derrick Favors / Arnett Moultrie
Marc Gasol / Nikola Pekovic / Fab Melo
Interesting that next to a developing Kemba you put more proven vets.
Ersan has a long term contract and will hopefully still be around when kemba reached his potentials. About Emeka Im not sure. We will try to make a playoff run with him as our defensive-anchor. sad to say there wasnt a much better defensive minded C left at pick #87 :/ And due to the fact all other players nearly reached their potentials we are able to adjust the TC to what Kemba needs, I hope he will get a nice boost before the season starts
Pros: - great defender - great DI - able to hit jumpers/threes - nice allrounder
Contras: - contract
We hope he will be able to limit all those great scoring SFs out there. His contract is huge, but it will expire together with Emekas in two years. So we will be able to use the capspace in two years to create a new team around our young core Walker/Harden/Booker
Round 6., Pick #154, Trevor Booker
Pros: - great defender - great rebounder - still young - nice potentials
We wanted to draft Kidd here, so Walker could backup both guard positions, but Jason got sniped by CHA a few picks earlier. Instead we picked Booker. Like Kemba he will need time to develope and he will get this time behind Ilyasova. Walker/Harden/Booker will be our core to build around going forward.
