With the sixth overall pick in the 1991 GAH draft, the New York Knicks select Robert Horry from Alabama. At 6'9" and 220 lbs, the junior from Alabama is one of the most versatile players in the draft. He can play both forward spots and has all the tools to become one of the league's best defenders. He reads the game as few players do, and he always adds to the team. In addition, he is never afraid to take the big shots in the final seconds of the game. Next to Toni Kukoc, the Knicks now have two lengthy and versatile players on the wings.
