An exciting pairing in New York. Wonder how it will all work together. And to think CPU traded Derrick Coleman for Robert Horry for Knicks last year (no offense to Horry..as he is very good player as well)But that allowed Knicks to re-up DC with bird rights. I think Richmond could do well there. Need to have right rotation, as many scorers on the squad....and we've saw many teams have problems succeeding with that. But Knicks should be interesting to watch....inside/outside and KJ running the show. For my Spurs...I truly felt with or without Mitch this next year...and no other changes...I will have about the same .500 record. So Bowen possibly used primarily at SG to stop what was our cancer last year...Mitch wasn't going to fit....and he will get mad if not playing. We wish him well. Turpin is a effective C.....should play regular minutes. Been waiting on one signing attempt entire FA....after that can post a team news and the season outlook. ljw SAS

I tried to get Richmond before the draft but could not get it done. Knicks looking good. As for the Spurs, I think half their roster is big men. Wondering how they will set their rotation.

Wowsa!!! Vlade moving!! I was watching Steve Smith for maybe next off-season as a FA target.
Is Sir Charles tenure in jeopardy in Hotlanta??? Miami might be looking good for this season (even after Mailman and Campbell bolted)!
As for the Laker-Jazz trade...would really like to see a commentators have fun with Greg in play-by-play: "That F*cka can really get down the court!" "Wave hello to your mother F*cka!"

Now Manu has posted his reasoning this makes sense.
It is interesting how much teams think about match ups when building a roster.
We had Indy in mind when we went after Payton and seems Atlanta have us in mind with this deal.
Makes the rivalries facinating

Makes the rivalries facinating I have been making changes for ten years to try and battle Denver in the division.....nothing has worked. As Indy interim..I did truly want to 'un-strengthen' Chicago roster....nobody else did though! ljw SAS

Our first CPU trade of the season:
Bucks trade 1994 1st round pick(MIL) for Pistons C Greg Anderson

Not sure I'd do that if I'm the Bucks. Cadillac doesn't make them a contender and the pick is currently lottery bound.

Wow the #4 overall pick from a couple seasons ago gets traded for 2 FA minimum guys Yeah and they sign JBC...which is good C...but then relegate Stanley Roberts to the bench?!? How is the poor guy gonna grow?? I wonder if Derek Harper is on the way out too??? I still rue picking John Stockton over him in that draft....simply GAH speaking. Stockton can't stop fouling in our world. ljw SAS

Good move for the Jazz, i think, with turnovers being such an issue for them this season. Getting Longley's relatively safe hands for Bol's doorknobs should help in that regard.

Midwest division is wide open for teams to make a run. My Spurs are atop mainly because Suns couldn't stay healthy and Nuggets haven't had much time this year to gameplan and send in strats regularly. It's anybody's division still! ljw SAS
