After another disappointing season in Philadelphia, the Sixers are looking to give the team a fresh look. That process began with a couple of mid-season trades and the team responded with a much improved second half of the season, despite losing Danny Manning before he ever put on a Philly jersey. With Magic Johnson on the trade block and potentially heading to an expansion team, the shooting guard position will be there for the taking. With that in mind, the Sixers selected LSU phenom Chris Jackson, now to be known as Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf after his conversion to Islam. Abdul-Rauf is expected to line up next to Rod Strickland in the back court, providing three point prowess that has been lacking for a few seasons.

Haha Chris Jackson. 1 of the best college players of all time. Had such promise but really faded into obscurity in the end.
Hope he goes well in the GAH

Hmm, well this blew the mock apart. Wasn't even listed in the first round.

Just so all know...this pick is indeed: Mahmoud Abdul Rauf (PG) 22 / 6-1 / 162 / LSU
He changed his name when reaching the pros for religious reasons from Chris Jackson.

Sorry yes. Abdul-Rauf. Marked him as the sixers pick after the lottery and glad he was still there at 6.
