These are the restrictions for the 1995-96 season, to be reviewed at the end of the season.
Trades between CPU controlled teams
There are no restrictions. If bad trades happen, so be it. No trades between two CPU controlled teams will be reversed.
Trades between human and CPU controlled teams
1. No trades will be allowed before January 1st (DDS date), in order to properly evaluate the team's situation (contender, playoff or lottery team). 2. CPU teams can only trade draft picks for the current season, but never future draft picks. 3. A CPU controlled team can only trade a first round pick if its winning percentage at the time of the trade is at or above 50 %. 4. If you want to offer a trade to a CPU controlled team, you will have to PM me the proposed trade (making sure financials work). The proposal will then be forwarded to another GM with no division ties with the trade and it will be discussed between both of us. As an example, if the Lakers send an offer for Boston's Clyde Drexler, I will choose one GM from either the Central or Midwest divisions to discuss the proposal. 5. CPU teams will not be allowed to offer trades, so if you receive e-mails within the game with trade offers from CPU teams, just disregard them.
