The 1994 GAH Free Agency period will start on Sunday, May 28th, afternoon GMT.
A few important things:
1. GM's without the game, PM me and I will send you the demands of the players you kept Bird rights to.
2. A clarification regarding Free Agency and Hard Cap. You cannot go over the Hard Cap with guaranteed contracts at the end of Free Agency. You will have to complete any vacant roster spots with minimum contracts at that point.
3. Teams under the Salary Cap by less then the sum of MLE + LLE can use either exceptions or their cap space, but not both.
4. For sign-and-trades see Section 4 of the CBA. The mother team has to sign the player, and then he can be traded under the conditions stated in the CBA.
6. Teams with MLE available:
Atlanta Hawks - Lost via trade Chicago Bulls - Lost via FA signing Detroit Pistons Houston Rockets Miami Heat Milwaukee Bucks - Lost via FA signing Sacramento Kings* (either MLE or LLE but not both)
7. Teams with LLE available:
Atlanta Hawks - Lost via trade Charlotte Hornets Chicago Bulls - Lost via FA signing Detroit Pistons Houston Rockets Miami Heat Milwaukee Bucks - Lost via FA signing Sacramento Kings* (either MLE or LLE but not both)

Something isn't looking right Manu for the unpronounced players cap hits. Is it not supposed to be 115% of the last salary?
Ralph Sampson made 14m last year....his current cap hit is showing at 21m...or 150% of last salary.
David Robinson was 11.8m.....and he is showing as cap hit of 17m+...or about 150% hit/??
Is this right? It is limiting me at least on Spurs to make bids of max to some of the studs in the initial FA.
Spurs should have 9m current contracts plus Mills 2.5m unrenounced and Sampson 16.5m unrenounced, or 28m in cap hit...leaving ~18m for bids under cap. Game is stating Im at 33m+ in cap....and can only spend max of 12.6m in contract before I am at cap?
So I can't id at the guys asking 16.8.....which I don;t think is right.
Can you confirm the cap counts of unrenounced players is right?
Thanks!

It was 115 % when we were running financials on our own, but when we switched to in-game financials last offseason cap holds changed. If I'm not mistaken, I believe it is 150 % for most players, but I think those coming off rookie deals is 200 %. The CBA was not updated completely when we made the switch, so that is my fault. Apologies for that. However, if we use the in-game Free Agency system there is no other way to do it.

Yeah 150% makes a big difference....but it is what it is....and everyone has to deal with it. I didn'y notice last year as I had no player up for FA with any high salary. Almost makes protecting any star not worth it...especially when the cap hit is initially $20+m, and their contract demands limit them to only be allowed to get $16.8 first year. Thanks for explanation Manu! ljw SAS

Thanks for explanation Manu! ljw SAS Once you sign them to new contracts you will have the cap room to go after other players, though. Sampson's cap hold is way larger than the max he can make, so you will gain additional cap space when he signs his new contract (assuming he does).

The Atlanta Hawks lost their exceptions when using part of their cap space in the Carlos Rogers trade.

For some reason the game has automatically changed MLE / LLE values this offseason. Now the MLE is $4,600,000 and the LLE $1,560,000. Thanks to Jeff for realizing.
Also, Bucks lost their exceptions when signing Barros (with the cap room Lewis signing with the Warriors created).
