Five-point win at Washington, 113-108, to advance to the Conference Finals. The key was placing Lorenzo Williams on Reggie Miller.
Now we face the Hornets, who swept us last year in the first round. Dumas will miss the first game for Charlotte, while Bogues and Phills will miss some games for us.

The matchup we expected, but we will struggle to manage that ridiculous front court. Good luck!

Spurs win 103-94 at HoustonRecap: Jason Kidd could only go 5 minutes...which allowed us to get the victory. Rockets depth was depleted. We were +25 in bench scoring. +21rebounds as well. A full strength Rocket team will be a force for many years. Congrats on a good year. Armstrong 22pts 6rebs 4asts (27mins with foul trouble) Petrovic 18pts 7rebs 2asts 2stls Camby 10pts 17rebs 2asts 3blks 2stls PJBrown 12pts 10rebs 1blk So it comes down in the West to what I was obsessed with as a teenager and NCAA hype: Sampson is probable for 3 days...and he is less then in his prime for sure. Should be a great series...good luck Suns! ljw SAS
