With our first blockbuster, talk away about trades, although I do think this will continue to be a low-trade league for the first season.

I have to call this a win for both teams. Milwaukee gets a legitimate second scoring All-Star to pair with Howard who's a pretty key upgrade over Gortat. I think this deal will clinch the Bucks in the playoffs though I'm not sure about beating out the Atlantic duo of Boston and Brooklyn for title contenders, so the pick won't be worth much, but Gortat's not that far a step down in quality, and, more importantly is under contract for next season. George has been shooting terribly, but he's still young enough to develop into something worth having.

I like the trade for the Heat. They'll have a great upgrade this comming season with a healthy Westbrook + recently acquired Blake Griffin to add to Kawhi Leonard. It' s nice value back for #3 (Oladipo, Porter?), and puts the Heat in 'playoff mode' right away, pending to improve their rotation @fa.

Gonna hate competing against that Heat team in the East for many yrs to come. Like the move for the Clippers as well.

It was tempting to keep the pick and enter free agency armed with a ton of cap space but I couldn't pass up on a Westbrook/Griffin combo supported by a guys like Leonard and Knight. Plus we still have enough cap to fill out the roster at least.

I know it was a questionable trade but felt the Clippers had to do something to change the scenary. Miami got a good deal, no question but it gives the Clippers 2 lotto picks, #2 and #3 plus a huge amount for free agency. Of course Brandon Jennings is due a big salary.

I think it is a risk for the Clippers. I mean there is some great talent in this draft but it is always hard to give up a "known" commodity like Griffin when you are taking back a player based on potentials.

I think it is a risk for the Clippers. I mean there is some great talent in this draft but it is always hard to give up a "known" commodity like Griffin when you are taking back a player based on potentials. That was my concern and probably why I went ahead with it. Not sure I could get someone at 3, or even if I did, get them to develop to Griffin's talent so went with the sure thing. I'm really not a fan of post players who can't block though but Biyombo will help in that area I guess. You never know though.
