The Sixers accept this deal. It's been no secret that I've been offering Malone around as I don't think he can co-exist with Kellogg. There hasn't been a whole lot of interest in him and in order to get something back of use to the Sixers, they had to include something else of value. Smith should become a very good player, but Manning is a much better fit and gives the Sixers a new and intriguing lineup of Magic/Williams(or Anderson)/Manning/Kellogg/Sabonis. We'll give that lineup a chance, at least until the trade deadline, before making any other major moves.

Trade cannot be valid until January 27th, when players signed as free agents in the offseason, as Manning and Anderson, can be traded. They are not in the restricted players thread because there are a lot of them to post manually.
Trade can be posted then.
