Andrei asked me and I have no answer ... does anyone know how to make DDS work on Windows 10?

I have not been able to do it, so I'd love to hear if anyone has!

If it cannot work on Windows 10, then one option could be installing Oracle Virtual Machine and then to install an older Windows version on it. That's what I have on my laptop. I have Linux and then Oracle VM installed with Windows XP on it to run some softwares that cannot be run in Linux.

Just tried on Win8 and similar result. Will look into Oracle thing but don't currently have a copy of XP - is it available to download somewhere?

Am running Windows 10 now and have been since it was released and DDS working fine on mine.
In case anyone wants to try, compatibility set to Windows Vista and also tick 'run as administrator'.

I've tried both those things in the past, but i'll give it a spin again at some point, it's killing me not having it.

Do you have a link to the installation file? Perhaps there is a different one that I'm using. Mine says its for XP/2000.
I've tried as Admin and Compatibility with Vista/XP/whatever else and it does not work. Since I get the same problems with WIn8 on a different laptop - assuming its the installation file.

Just a note that just came to my mind, although it should affect only those using European time format. I remember that when I had my PC with European time format DDS crashed a lot and could not load properly. I had to change the time format to the American one, so instead of having 19:02 I have 7:02 PM.

it worked - thanks Manu now it says that I have no more licenses with y Order ID You probably did not remove the two licenses from previous installations. I tried contacting e-license about that a couple months ago but they did not answer. Maybe you have more luck if you try.
