Hawks agree. The season is not going as expected so changes are needed. After sending Jackson to Phoenix in order to acquire Benjamin, we needed a defensive wing with three-point range. Askins fits the bill, and the players we are moving were not part of our core. Sellers is there for expansion purposes.
Thanks to both Cavs and Spurs for the last minute conversations.

Spurs agree. Sellers has been around since drafted, but doesnt get time. Adding Tyler Worthy Norman this past year just buried him deeper. Gray will be released after trade goes through, as we are loaded at C. This frees up a slot next year, as we had 12 players under contract past this season
Thanks Ljw SAS

Cavs agree. Bonner adds some much needed frontcourt depth and Iuzzolino is included for the expansion draft. Askins is a solid player but no longer fit for us once we signed Reynolds.
