With the 16th overall pick in the 1995 GAH draft, the Atlanta Hawks select guard Brent Barry from Oregon State. At 6'6" and 185 lbs, Barry will provide length to the Hawks perimeter. A smart player who barely makes mistakes, his skillset will allow him to play both guard spots and even some small forward if the situation calls for it. An elite three-point shooter, Barry should look more for his own shot. While not a great defender, he can do a decent job on that end of the court. This selection may mean that Hubert Davis days with the Hawks are over. With Charles Barkley on a contract year, Atlanta may go all in this upcoming season.

I see him like an Ehlo .... decent everywhere and a good role player to have on the squad.

Jon was a great role player for Miami, real effective player. Seems Brent will be a little bit better of a player on the offensive side of the ball.
