First of all, I am fan of Atlanta since 1988 and I want to build a roster very similar to that.
I need a superstar in SF position. My favorites are Lebron James and Kevin Durant but if I select in back position in the draft, I'll choose a scorer SF (Rudy Gay for example).
In 1988, the Hawks had a non-scorer frontcourt with Kevin Willis and Tree Rollins. Here, I search players with good PA/ST ratio (with big discipline and defense).
In backcourt, Glenn "Doc" Rivers managed very well Hawks' offense. Normally, I'll select a great ball handling and IQ PG in second round of dispersal draft. For the SG position, I want a shooter and defender man (as Randy Wittman). I will look Danny Green´s ratings because he fits well in the roster that I thought.
Sorry for my English and for my fanatical attitude about those old times.

Would be an interesting team to build, although I see a lot of people going great ball handling/IQ point guard in the first round, simply because it and center are the two toughest positions to fill.

Yes Jestor but for example I prefer Larry Sanders' peofile players than Al Jefferson profile players. And Jefferson is better player than Sanders IMO

Could be a great idea, but i think in a draft is better don't choose in firths positions (top five to twenty for example) no superstars players except top four paul, durant, lebron, howard. I prefer choose in ultimate place and after i will choose a pole position other similar player, is my opinion.

Willis had some very good seasons with the Hawks in the early 90's when he was averaging around 18 points and 13 rebounds per game.

Hawks were a fun team to watch mid 80's I suppose. I mean, I only saw few footages, but with Nique and Webb along others, they sure couldn't be bad for one's eyes Glad you got your A-team! And your plan seems quite exciting really, trying to re-live the success, and possibly top it!
