Game five to the Lakers....a mirror image of game four, except that Lakers got the Spurs to foul every time down early...which dictated everything. Lakers shot 20 FTAs in the first. Regardless of a Spur 31-28 lead after one, that amount of fouls makes the entire rotation now unsettled for remaining three quarters. Garland and Elliot were sitting the first half. 2nd quarter was a steal fest.....8 steals and 13 turnovers by LAL at halftime, and a 11 point deficit. 3rd quarter was even, but fourth Q we had no defense anymore as we couldn't foul, so guard for lakers just drive the lane for layups to pull away. We have proven all season..if Gatling and Mills are on the court at the same time...we can't score at all. I went through 82 games seeing this constantly. I can't explain it..but I know if both are on court..the offense dies.
At least we are still healthy...and will play game six at home.....maybe get the fouls back for home court again...and make this go seven. 24TOs and 14STLs and we aren't winning anytime, anywhere.

Not sure how but Portland is still alive after winning game 5. Curry's 25pts important but the real hero is rookie Eric Snow who is playing 40mpg at PG after being 3rd string all year. We've won 2 of 3 with him starting.
Six Sixers scored double figures to help them take a 3-2 lead over the Pacers.
