We start the series with a win at home, 115-105. Barkley did what we brought him in for, leading the team with 35 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 steal. Our two other cornerstones also delivered, with Divac delivering 21 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 blocks and Bogues having 22 points, 11 assists, 3 rebounds and 2 steals. Solid games also from Ellis, Wiley and Jackson. Nice to start the series with a win and with our key players at a good level, but we need to improve our defense.

Competitive in Oakland but ultimately went down by 6. Biggest issue was that we couldn't keep Ewing off the line.

I'm happy with the game even though we lost. Tarpley and Johnson were great but everyone else struggled in some area. Our main issue was that we couldn't handle Barkley. If Antoine Carr can have a better game, we make be able to make this series competitive.

Scrappy game in Chicago that could have gone either way but Chicago gets the win thanks to MJ but we managed to disrupt the rest of the Bulls. Derek Harper picked up the same injury that he picked up in game 1 against the Knicks last year! I think we did ok and should make an interesting series of this.
PS if anyone can screenshot some game stats for me id be hugely appreciative.

Part of it is my own fault but we honestly must be one of the unluckiest teams in the league. To go injury free most of the season to now losing two key starters for the playoffs is killer. There goes me even advancing past the first round.

There goes me even advancing past the offseason. That sucks. You'd probably find that most teams have several similar stories though. I've had two promising runs at the title (my only 2 runs) stopped by key injuries. The Hawks are well known for their injury curse.

You have a perfectly good PF in Vaught that came off the bench for an injured player. You could of atleast benched your injured starters instead of throwing your hands in the air and walked away. Submitting a fresh DC would of been a good idea 2 months ago.

Yeah we've had three runs ruined where we were the top seed by Edwards going down for the entire playoffs a month out. It just happens sometimes, or a few times ha.

On the game, I can't believe we just lost to the Jazz at home. It's not a big issue series wise but this game sometimes.
