The 1990-91 season file has been e-mailed and HTML updated including player cards. Cap spreadsheet is also updated and the Trade Office is open. Scouting is also underway. Remember that, according to our CBA, teams must be below the Hard Cap before the draft finishes in order to be able to sign their rookies. The following teams are currently over the Hard Cap:
Chicago Bulls Denver Nuggets Golden State Warriors Houston Rockets Indiana Pacers Memphis Pyramids Philadelphia 76ers San Antonio Spurs Washington Bullets
The renouncements thread is also open, but as usual, they will not be processed until the draft is over.

Hey Manu!
I guess I should know this by now...but how do I get below the HC before the draft is over if renouncements are not acknowledged and entered until after the draft? Do I go and 'cut' players that I have planned to renounce? Since they have no salary in 91..only a projected salary on cap if I keep them....does that ween off the dollars? Or I would need to trade some of the six players I only have under contract to get under cap...or trade the picks as only options?
Thanks! ljw SAS

Thanks! ljw SAS No. For cap purposes we consider the end of the draft and renouncements processing taking place at the same time. Therefore, if renouncing players puts your team under the HC then everything is ok. Also, new pre-draft file has been sent with correct order for draft picks and upcoming free agents as free agents. HTML is updating.
